WHO THE BLOODY? JACPOTATO?

A question Jac asks herself most days; “who am I?” whispering in her mind as she wanders the flat, coffee in hand.

JacPotato is a YouTuber that aims to be a lighthouse in the storm of AI slop. Creating honest content, a place to go for gaming, commentary on stuff, and expect a lot of silly facial expressions.

For her merch Jac designed it herself so it might be a little janky, but she’s kinda into that. Her interests changing seemingly daily, subscribing to her channel will take you on more side quests than anything else.

Jac was born and raised in London and has had a random mishmash career up until now. She’s done everything from waitressing, barista-ing, lifeguarding, scriptwriting, blog writing, and now YouTubing.

Jac taught herself blog writing and ended up working in Old Street in London, then went freelance and thought her life was transformed from poverty. That she’d made it.

But then AI kinda took a big dump on that. So I’m bloody back at square one again, aren’t I. Hello again poverty my old friend.

Oh yeah, I also love to break the forth wall heh. Hi, I’m Jac and I can’t begin to explain who I really am in this about page, as like most people, we’re complex, ever changing, yet the same.

What I can tell you is I fell in love with the process of YouTube, as an avid watcher of it. I created my channel in 2024 when life had become something of a shart-show.

Starting YouTube gave me a sense of purpose like I never really had before, and is slowly giving me my real voice back. Like genuinely, my voice be returnin.’

Even if that voice just makes silly jokes or potato merch. Oh LOOK AT THAT, the merch button is so conveniently placed right there… wonder how that happened.

I’m a regular broke… I mean artist type who likes making videos.
What else to say about me really?
I used to party way too much and then changed my life..
I went to uni like 10+ years ago for film and never thought that degree would ever be useful. And it still isn’t as my videos suck.
Not more than your average British person. She just made the YouTuber name because it was her gamer name.
I be 33 years old, although I sometimes forget, making myself a year younger or older.
A terrible editor, one that doesn’t know memes at all… doesn’t vibe with the youth, and cares only about making me laugh so hard coffee shoots out my nostrils.

No connections, no multichannel, no team of people. Jac wears a million hats and is slightly shit at ALL of them [but heyy, kinda impressive tho you gotta admit, kinda cool that she can do so many things as a loner, wowaweewa you could say].
